Judy Reeves is a writer, teacher and writing practice provocateur who has published four books on the craft including A Writer’s Book of Days, which was named Best Nonfiction in the 2010 San Diego Book Awards. Other works include two plays written with the Second Story Writers, and produced by the Fritz Theater; and a chapbook of poetry, The Kind of Woman She Is. Her work has also appeared in the San Diego Reader, Personal Journaling magazine, The Frozen Moment, A Year in Ink, Vols I and V, and other anthologies. In addition to leading private writing workshops and retreats, Judy teaches at UCSD Extension, The Ink Spot and speaks at writing conferences internationally. Long active in San Diego’s writing community, she is cofounder of two nonprofit literary organizations: The Writing Center and San Diego Writers, Ink.
