Thank you for another successful year!

be-the-change-you-want-to-see-in-the-worldA big thank you goes out to all who attended this year’s 6th Annual UC San Diego Women’s Conference!

We would like to thank all of our vendors, campus resources, and sponsors for making this year’s event possible.  Moreover, we would like to give a big thank you and shout out to Dr. Gordon Saxe and Ms. Lauray MacElhern, our keynote speakers, as well as all we would like to give a big thank you and shout out to all of our amazing breakout session speakers. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your involvement at this year’s event!

Finally, we could not have pulled off this year’s event without the assistance of our amazing day-of volunteers or without the dedication, sacrifice, and passion from all of our volunteer conference committee members!   You are all so very much appreciated! You all did a stellar and amazing job!  As we said, we could not have done this without you and we hope you will be able to join us next year in making this event even greater!

If you have any ideas, thoughts, and/or suggestions for next year’s event, then please do not hesitate to contact us about possibly joining one of the conference’s sub-committees at empoweryou@ucsd.edu.  As one of our sub-committee members stated just this morning, “it takes a village” to put on this type of event and the larger the village is, the better the event we can produce and bring to you, the attendees.  Please think about volunteering.  We plan to start work on next year’s conference this summer.

Once again, thank you and see you next year!
