Here you can read first about our Keynote Speakers: Lauray MacElhern & Dr. Gordon Saxe and our various Breakout Session Speakers as well as more about our 1st Annual Honorary Guest: Dr. Doris Howell!

This year’s conference will begin with a healthy breakfast, inspired by our Keynote Speakers, as well as with opening remarks and welcome address by Interim Vice Chancellor for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), Dr. Carol Padden. From here, we will move into our Keynote Speakers’ address on “Our Food, Our Planet, Our Power.”  You will discover a simple and effective way to reclaim individual health while contributing to the health of Mother Earth and all who rely on her.  Ms. MacElhern and Dr. Saxe will discuss the empowering possibility for an “eat green” movement, in which women have a particularly vital role to play!

Once the Keynote Speakers have finished with their presentation, we will breakout into smaller sessions located throughout the Price Center, including main Ballroom as well as the Price Center Forum (4th Floor), John Muir Room, Roosevelt College Room, and Thurgood Marshall Room.  These three 45-minute long sessions will include panels, individual/team speakers, food demo, and a movie viewing in the following topic tracks: Health and Wellness;  Arts and Culture;  Be the Change (Development/Leadership); and  STEMM.
