2015 UC San Diego Women’s Conference Keynote: Tricia Downing

This year’s UC San Diego Women’s Conference keynote is Tricia Downing. Downing is an elite athlete, author and transformational specialist who has overcome overwhelming odds to achieve success. After a tragic accident nearly ended her life, she embraced change and reemerged as an elite wheelchair athlete and became the first female paraplegic to complete an IRONMAN Triathlon. Downing will share lessons about facing the unknown, overcoming natural resistance to change, feeling more at ease with change and realizing the benefits of embracing new ways of thinking, doing and acting.
